Like many people we spent many happy  holidays in the area and fell in love with the peace and tranquillity, the people and the lifestyle. The dramatic uninterrupted views along the wooded valley and down to the sea, the quiet country lanes, the friendly  welcome, historic mines, the huge array of wildlife all helped to make us feel we had found our true spiritual home.   From the moment you arrive you know you are in a very special part of the world of Mithian  near St Agnes in Cornwall. Our self catering property is well furnished with an open log fire, this is a warm and welcoming  environment and a place where you, your family and friends, can relax and enjoy a real rural  break in Cornwall. The self-contained accommodation, which has recently been fully refurbished, consists of two double bedrooms and one  single. There is a bathroom with both shower and bath and a modern kitchen with full washing facilities.  The large sitting room has a dining area and a conservatory. The accommodation is fully centrally heated and has a log fire. In the sitting room there is a  TV and CD stereo system and free broadband internet access is provided. Children and pets are welcome Valley View is our family home and we welcome both children  and pets. All services, including logs are included. Basics such as tea, coffee and milk will be waiting for  you when you arrive. We can supply a high chair and cot and can always find a few extra toys for a toddler! There is private parking and plenty of space to wander around and explore the local countryside. We are located off a quiet lane close to St Agnes on the  beautiful North coast which is renowned for it's rugged cliffs and  sheltered coves. It is an ideal location from which to tour all of  Cornwall being only six or seven minutes away from the main  A30 arterial route through the centre of the County. We are within walking distance of a riding school, golf range  and a lovely 17th century pub which serves an exquisite  selection of fine foods. The capital City of Truro is about 20  minutes drive away with it's array of shops and restaurants. The popular surfing beach of Perranporth is about five minutes drive and Newquay less than quarter of an hour away. The private enclosed garden is ideal for the family pet and there are endless walks to some of the most beautiful and secluded  locations such as the renowned Blue Hills beach and it's  disused silver mines about twenty minutes walk away.
